Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups apples, diced and heaping
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • 2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Beat well together eggs, sugar, and oil. Sift together remaining dry ingredients. Add to egg mixture; stirring well. Fold in diced apples and chopped nuts. Pour into greased and floured 13×9 pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes in 350ºF oven. Remove from oven and cover at once with sifted powdered sugar. Cut into bars.
