  • 1/2 cup Ohio ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 package chili mix

Instructions

Open the bun and slather copious amounts of Ben’s Mustard on bun. Slice the hot dog lengthwise and place on bun. Cover with chili and top with cheese and onions.

Ben’s Chili:
Brown hamburger and onions together. When done rinse with hot water and place in large pot. Add all other ingredients except one can of tomatoes. Simmer for 4 hours and add other can of tomatoes and cook for another hour. Enjoy a bowl and refrigerate the rest. Next day simmer for 4 hours and add a little water if necessary while cooking then cool down and refrigerate. The extra cooking will thicken chili for your coney dogs and chili is best when all flavors have time to mingle!
