Ingredients
- 2 pounds Ohio ground beef ground twice
- 2 tablespoons roasted sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/3 cup green pepper, diced finely
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/3 cup onion, diced finely
- 1 tablespoon sogogi dashi dah (oriental beef flavored soup base)
- 1/3 cup carrot, diced finely
- 2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 11/2 teaspoons dried granulated garlic
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Sauce: ½ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
Mix all ingredients except oil. Form into 1-inch round balls. Preheat oil in skillet then fry balls, partially, then flatten with spatula and cook half way then turn and finish cooking. For the sauce, combine 1/2 cup soy sauce, water and 2 tablespoons sugar. Serve meat with sauce.
