Ingredients
- 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup Ohio sour cream
- 1/4 cup Ohio heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla (optional)
Instructions
All ingredients should remain at room temperature.In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add sour cream and whipping cream until well-blended. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with fresh fruit, scones, vanilla wafers, or breads. Pecan or Walnut and Pineapple Sandwich: 1 cup pecans or walnuts, finely chopped 1 8-ounce package cream cheese 1 8-ounce package crushed pineapple, welldrained and squeezed 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar (optional) Ohio bread, toasted Ohio butter Add chopped pecans or walnuts, cream cheese, and drained pineapple; stirring until combined.Toast and butter bread. Add filling and enjoy. Light Cucumber Salsa: 1 Ohio cucumber, peeled, deseeded and finely chopped 1/2 cup Ohio fat free sour cream 1/2 cup Ohio plain yogurt 1/2 teaspoon fresh Ohio parsley 1/2 teaspoon cumin 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon thyme 2 tablespoons Ohio carrot, finely chopped 2 tablespoons Vidalia onion, finely chopped 1 tablespoon Ohio hot sauce Mix all ingredients together. Serve with fresh Ohio vegetables.
