Ingredients

  • 1 pound Meiring Poultry & Fish Farm tilapia filets, raw
  • 1 pound Ohio freshwater shrimp, raw
  • 1 cup Ohio green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup Ohio celery, chopped
  • 1 small Ohio carrot
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup Ohio butter
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 cup Ohio white wine
  • 3 cups clam juice
  • 3 teaspoons chicken bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon Ohio parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Ohio basil
  • 1 cup Ohio heavy cream
  • pepper to taste
  • /4 cup pimiento
  • croutons or crackers (optional)
  • bacon crumbs (optional)

 

Instructions

In large skillet, slowly simmer fish and shrimp for 3 minutes. Cool, drain, and save liquids. Sauté onions, celery, and carrots in butter until tender. Add flour to veggies and stir. Add all other ingredients; simmering on low heat, approximately 8 to 10 minutes or in crock pot. DO NOT BOIL. Serve with croutons or crackers and bacon crumbs sprinkled on top, if desired.
