During the month of July, Ohio Proud celebrated the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, the first manned mission to land on the Moon by Buzz Aldrin and Ohio’s own Neil Armstrong on July 20, 1969. Ohio Proud members featured specialty products to honor the historic event, including the Slovak Gourmet, with their advertisement below. The Slovak Gourmet’s pepper relish jam, peppers and baked goods are regularly available at the Hudson Farmer’s Market.
