The Ohio Department of Agriculture invites Ohio Proud Companies to participate in the Ohio Proud Farmers’ Market at this year’s Ohio State Fair! The Ohio State Fair is one of the largest state fairs in the U.S., held in Columbus from July 27- August 7. The 12-day event hosts nearly 1 million visitors annually from each of Ohio’s 88 counties, all 50 states, Canada and Mexico!

Products that qualify are items traditionally sold at farmers’ markets including unprocessed fruits and vegetables, honey, flowers, baked goods, jams and jellies, soaps and more. Items not listed on the form must be approved prior to being sold at the market. Due to fair regulations, prepared and made-to-order foods are not eligible to participate.

Up to ten Ohio Proud Partners will be chosen each day to showcase their products and sell to fairgoers. The market will be located in the front lawn of the Voinovich Livestock & Trade Center Farm. Ohio Proud is offering this opportunity to each vendor for FREE to sell on Monday-Thursday, and just $25 per day Friday-Sunday.

Partners can choose to sell on select days or all, while spots last. Market spots are being offered on a first come, first served basis to those partners who qualify, so we encourage you to act fast! Completed application forms should be emailed to:  OhioProud@agri.ohio.gov.
